Managing Partner Hans Kroll joined us as a partner to develop the local branch of Nedscaper.

He tells Bruce Whitfield the story of the establishment of the company’s link with South Africa.

The founder of Nedscaper, who had been planning to start the company for several years, regularly vacationed in Cape Town and particularly enjoyed tasting the local wine.

At a wine bar one day in 2019, he overheard a Harvard graduate at the next table recounting how he had taken a job in the mother city.

It made him think that Cape Town is capable of attracting the best talent… and if it’s easy to attract the best talent, it would also be a good place to build an offshoring center, which is usually enough difficult.
