The Digital Employee Experience (DEX) team is responsible for providing IT support to our 8,000 employees in 9 countries and in 5 languages. We are currently recruiting a DEX Specialist with Dutch, German or French, as an active first point of contact within our internal IT department, for employees seeking technical assistance.

At DEX, we take your development personally and have made 15 promotions within the team in the last 12 months. We have a targeted onboarding program and are happy to accept candidates with no IT experience who are keen to start a career in IT. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to acquire IT knowledge in several technical areas, primarily the workplace, within our application landscape, as well as other essential IT areas, such as network, voice, video, collaboration and print.

The role

  • Cultivate a high degree of customer service for all support requests, adhering to service management principles while approaching tasks with an agile mindset

  • First point of contact for all customers requiring technical support, handling customer issues and correctly translating technical information to them

  • Recording of information, events, problems, etc. in the respective resolution logs

  • Identify and apply the best solution based on the problem and details

  • Perform remote troubleshooting or walk the customer through the problem-solving process, before redirecting the case to other teams

  • Identify, suggest and implement service/process improvements, with particular emphasis on improving customer satisfaction and/or automating repetitive tasks.

Who we are looking for

  • Experience in a customer support role

  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills

  • High level of service minded, self-motivated worker who derives satisfaction from providing excellent customer support

  • Advanced organizational and collaborative skills as well as effective communication (both written and verbal)

  • Knowledge of Dutch or French or German

  • English is an essential business language
