However, Saha has ruled out the possibility of playing county cricket saying he already doesn’t have much time with his family lately so he wants to do it for a bit.
Saha recently parted ways with his Bengal national team and has yet to decide which state he wants to play in the next phase of his career. Saha’s wife Romi had slammed the Bengal Cricket Association for doubting Saha’s commitment and said the wicketkeeper striker was injured by the same and hence left his side of the state.
For Saha, it wasn’t all bleak as after being bought out by a new franchise, the goalie-beater became IPL champion with the Gujarat Titans. After not playing the first few games, Saha was slotted into the lineup as an opener and he didn’t disappoint as he showed off his offensive prowess with the bat.

Speaking more about his journey with the Titans, Saha praised skipper Hardik Pandya and how he embraced a different role with bat and ball taking on more responsibility in the lead.
“Whenever you are captain, how the responsibility for the team and the thirst to contribute increases, he showed exactly that. He was beating at No. 6 or No. 7 Mumbai Indians (MI), only getting only three to four overs at most, and so had to start playing shots immediately after he came in. But when he got here, he had to change his game to hit at No. 4 and ended up scoring nearly 500 runs. it’s his bowling. It’s not an easy task at all,” added Saha.
