Systems Support Administrator at SA Taxi Development Finance

Primary objective

Responsible for system process analysis, design and simulation. Assists in conducting mapping sessions with business units to facilitate process improvement and change in terms of business strategies. Have a good understanding of the organization’s business systems. Ensures communication with all stakeholders regarding changes to business systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies opportunities for improvement through proactive and reactive issues through data analysis to make constructive suggestions for change
  • Liaise regularly with management and relevant stakeholders to drive change
  • Train and educate the team in terms of system changes/enhancements by liaising with the learning department to develop relevant training packages and assist in their delivery
  • Ensures product quality through working with Quality Analysts to establish and manage effective processes for “right first time” performance and embeds this philosophy into the organization’s culture of continuous improvement
  • Identify and recommend new processes to drive continuous improvement.
  • Stimulate reflection by proposing new ways of doing things.
  • Identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements.
  • Provides support to the team by testing system changes and troubleshooting
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and know the end-to-end process for all systems.
  • Be the first point of contact in the event of a system problem (system gatekeeper)
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure understanding and clarity to find appropriate solutions
  • System reports and impact on productivity
  • Understand system changes to minimize business impact
  • Facilitate testing of new system enhancements/developments, process changes, new products, and new financial structures to ensure processes are operating effectively and efficiently
  • Specify requirements and provide relevant documentation (upon request) for certain system changes required
  • Propose changes to improve system efficiency
  • Run system audits based on user profiles and align with business requirements
  • Manage and support ad-hoc operations projects
  • Suggests and implements continuous operational improvements with clear and measurable benefits, to reduce costs, increase efficiency or improve customer satisfaction by presenting relevant business cases illustrating return on investment.
  • Contributes to the design of the information technology infrastructure necessary to support effective system performance.

  • Update and maintain accurate matrices
  • Correct update of the vehicle matrix (Optima and Reward)
  • Maintenance and update of Dealer masters (Dealer Matrix, DIC Matrix), Taxi Route matrix as well as LOA Templates on Optima
  • Repository of processes and business rules
  • Know the end-to-end process for all systems to help the lending team
  • Troubleshoot system issues or refer to IT
  • Assist the IT department in resolving issues that may be faced by system users

Skills/experience required
